De Vergara me salto la 1 y 2, primero por ser marcas “Victoria” y segundo porque hay un estudio (que no tengo), que dice que realmente Vergara no tuvo cuños hasta 1839.

PE-3. 1839 a 1840.
En negro por ahora no la hemos visto.

En rojo se relaciona en los dos años como muy rara (RR).

Sospecho que realmente esta primera carta, posiblemente fuera de 1840 con el típico error que se comete los primeros días del año de mantener el año anterior. Igual por el texto se pudiera confirmar la fecha o el error, aunque por ejemplo habla de un nuevo periódico pirenaico, del que no he encontrado referencias.
La duda se me plantea porque la siguiente carta no la tenemos hasta diciembre y a partir de ahí si la vemos de una forma continuada.
Si alguien se atreve a indagar, nos podría dar sus conclusiones.

PE-4. 1840 a 1844. Escasa (E).
Tenemos dos cartas que pensamos que pueden ser errores, pero la cuestión es que en la primera, la fecha es muy clara. Carta de Vergara a Tolosa fechada el 8 de enero de 1834, seis años anterior a lo catalogado, pero nos extraña muchísimo esa fecha.
El escrito nos da pocas referencias y solo hace referencia a un cotilleo sobre la posible boda de José Murua con una inglesa. Es la única referencia que podríamos utilizar, pero es complicado de confirmar.

En la segunda no se indica el año y es Badator quien la fecha en 1835. Pensamos que es un error, pero nos llama la atención esta referencia y la existencia de la carta comentada anteriormente.

De entrada, no la daremos por correctas las fechas, pero desde luego que merecerían un estudio mas profundo. ¿Qué pensáis vosotros?

Dentro de lo que seria el periodo catalogado, podemos comentar que la primera fecha que tenemos es de 25 de abril de 1840 y por tanto coincide durante unos meses con la PE-3. De hecho, ese mismo día tenemos una carta con la PE-3.

La ultima fecha la tenemos en el siguiente archivo, en carta de Elorrio a Vitoria, con fechador de salida de 20 de octubre de 1854.
En San Filatelio se da como última fecha el 9 de octubre, por lo que se avanza algo. Para el fechador de 1854 Luis Pérez da el 11 de noviembre como primer día y por el momento no hemos encontrado nada que adelante esa fecha, por lo que la laguna que tenemos es de unos 21 días.

En amarillo se considera rara (R).
Aunque no tenemos las fechas extremas, la sensación es que en Vergara se cumplió la normativa en cuanto al uso del color amarillo, desde el 1 de julio de 1844 al 31 de agosto de 1845.
En rojo si tenemos un posible ultimo día del 30 de junio y después el 3 de septiembre.
En amarillo tenemos como primera fecha el 3 de julio, que coincide con la de San Filatelio y como ultima el 28 de agosto, aunque en San Filatelio si se da el día 31.
