En negro se cataloga como muy escasa (ME) desde 1814 a 1822, existiendo un hueco de fechas de 5 años con la anterior marca.

En el siguiente archivo tenemos varias cartas de 1810, siendo la más antigua la correspondiente a la última imagen fechada el 29 de marzo de 1810, por lo que se adelanta la fecha de uso en 4 años y se estrecha algo más el hueco.

Las fechas que da San Filatelio no son completa y solo da como primera fecha el 27/10/1843, dando como final 1854 y en amarillo solo 1844.

Nosotros, la primera fecha que tenemos nos la encontramos en una marca de llegada de 3 de mayo de 1843 (carta de Valladolid), lo que anticipa bastante lo indicado en San Filatelio. Dado, que la PE-4 la tenemos hasta el 4 de abril, tenemos un hueco de un mes.

Como última fecha, tenemos el 13 de julio de 1854, aunque aquí, si parece queda bastante margen por descubrir.


En amarillo no tenemos ninguna de salida, aunque de llegada tenemos una que pensamos es un primer día del 1 de julio de 1844, aunque no está suficientemente clara. Esto indicaría que se comenzó aplicando la norma correctamente.

La carta parte de Bilbao el 30 de junio y el fechador de llegada está en un amarillo muy oscuro, con una fecha que podría ser el 31 de junio (no creo y seria anterior a la normativa), el 1 de julio (por la que yo me decanto) o el 11 de julio (me parecería mucho tardar y las cifras estarían algo descuadradas).
Así que entiendo que es un primer día de uso.

De Durango no se conocía ninguna marca de certificado y tenemos los siguientes que son manuscritos.

Certificado que sale de Durango el 2 de febrero de 1828 a la Villa de Sacedón. Con las típicas aspas en las esquinas, tiene tomas de razón en Vitoria el día 2 donde se le asigna el nº. 149, Madrid el día 4 y dos de Guadalajara los días 7 y 10.
Se acompaña copia del escrito enviado que está fechado en Marquina el 30 de enero.

Tenemos también el siguiente certificado donde, aunque la caligrafía pudiera parecer distinta en ciertos aspectos, pensamos que debe ser de la misma persona, lo que además sería lógico por la cercanía en el tiempo. Si nos fijamos bien, diríamos que lo que cambian son solamente las mayúsculas iniciales.
Sale de Durango el día 18 de octubre de 1828, con tomas de razón en Vitoria del mismo día, Madrid del día 20 y por último en Guadalajara el 23.

Por último, tenemos un certificado que igualmente consideramos del mismo tipo, de 20 de enero de 1829, por lo que se puede establecer un pequeño periodo de uso.
Como los dos anteriores, va dirigido al mismo cargo de Sacedón, con tomas de razón en Vitoria del día 20, Madrid el 22 y Guadalajara el 25 de enero.
Junto al certificado, se adjunta una pequeña nota que posiblemente formara parte del mismo donde se indica “Para certificar en Durango sin falta. Ocho rs” que seguramente harían referencia al coste de los derechos de certificado a abonar por el remitente.
